About Brightfield
Hi, I'm Eric.
I make wearable art from shader code.
Brightfield began as an experiment with GLSL fragment shaders and a simple idea: the visuals I was discovering were too interesting to stay on a screen.
Our designs start as generative visuals — bold colors, shifting patterns, customizable text, and shader-based experiments that turn code into something you can wear. Some designs are ready to go. Others let you tweak the settings and make them your own.
Brightfield is for people who want something more interesting than a standard graphic tee: something creative, personal, and a little unexpected.
Every piece comes from a real shader program — not stock art, not a template, just code and experimentation.
You don't need to know anything about shaders to enjoy it. You just need to be curious. ✨
How It Works
From fragment shader to front door.
-
Write the shader
A GLSL program runs on your GPU, blending geometry, color math, and live animation into a moving image.
-
Configure & generate
Use the on-page GUI to dial in colors, speed, and text. Hit Generate Preview when it looks right.
-
Share it (optional)
Love how it turned out? Share your design with the Brightfield community — browse what others have made and get inspired.
-
Print on demand
Your design goes to Printful, gets printed on a quality garment, and ships directly to your door.
-
Wear it
Your shirt arrives. No one else has one like it.
What We're About
A few things we believe in.
Generated, not drawn.
The output comes from math. There's no Illustrator file behind it — just shader code and a seed.
One of one.
The shaders are loaded with random values so that your design is unique. Your design lives in your order, not our catalog.
Made by someone who codes.
Every shader is hand-crafted, tested, and iterated. Not stock art dressed up — actual GPU programs built to look good on fabric.
